Bill Clary has been making mission trips to India since 1986 and is involved in teaching, preaching and benevolence.  This work began in Alaska and continues in Illinois.
In 2017 Bill completed his 21st trip to India working in Chennai, G. Kondur, Mylavaram and Srikakulam as well as many other villages.  He taught in a school of preaching, worked in an orphanage that he sponsors, preached in homes, church buildings and in the streets.  Clary also conducted a medical camp that served 200 people with free medicine and light physical exams.
Every year Lakeside, other churches of Christ and individuals in central Illinois contribute toward purchases of Saris for the widows in India.  This year Bill Clary was able to purchase 500 saris with funds contributed.  These widows would not have clothing were it not for the generous contributions from the caring Christians in central IL.
